HP Compaq Business Notebook 6720s

This is only my second lappie and the first for some years and I have been delighted with its slim profile, excellent quality screen (videos, YouTube and pictures appear very realistic) and the speed with which it recharges. I love the HP brand and having looked at other makes I came back to my first choice as I know the customer support available is excellent and I have never been disappointed with an HP product.

The battery life is not very long but a bigger one can be bought and as there are three power settings that you can choose you can decide how to utilise the available power.

The memory is ample for pretty much all ones needs although it has come pre-loaded with several programs I am probably not going to need, so the boot-up time is a little longer than I anticipated.

The internal speakers leave a bit to be desired as anything above a low sound becomes fuzzy, but you can plug in a headset which makes up for this (probably good quality external speakers would work).

I find the touch-pad mouse overly sensitive and as I have parkinson's (controlled reasonably with medication) I find that I am sometimes inadvertently double-clicking. This has been resolved by plugging a plug/play optical mouse in to one of the USB ports.
