I bought this unit to play my ipod tunes in our 1994 Jeep. Setup was incredibly easy (plug into lighter, plug into ipod, tune radio, tune iTrip to same station).
Reception, however, is an entirely different story. The FM tuner is exceptionally touchy and whether or not you get the signal seems entirely based upon luck. Sometimes it works, and sometimes it doesn't. I had to unplug the unit from both the car receptor and the ipod, reset everything and try several times until it started working again - even though you could see the power light on, so obviously the unit was getting power and connected.
I'm greatly disappointed, and just hope that it'll work well in my Miata. It's a shame too, because the size, price, and ease of setup are incredible!
