Green Day are a three piece from Berkley, California, USA. Billie Joe (guitar and vocals) and Mike Dirnt (Bass and backing vocals) have known each other since they were 10. They used to be called Sweet Children and had a different drummer (John not Tre Cool). The very first song I heard of this band was Boulevard of Broken Dreams and trust me I thought that this was a new band.But was surprised to see that this band is on for quite some time.to be precise since 1987. The band consists of 3 members Billie(vocals,guitar),Mike(bass guitar) and Tré(drums,vocals). They have had so far 8 albums,but my favorite is the last one American Idiot.I loved all the songs in this album.Love to listen ...

I have read one sour, 1-star review of Greenday and two five-star review and i have to say i disagree with them all. For me, Greenday are one of my favourite bands in terms of sound, but their technique and playing is very simple. The band is made up of three members: Billy Joe Armstrong (lead vocals and guitar), Mike Dirnt (bass and backing vocals) and Tre Cool ( drums and backing vocals). They have had a lot of albums, which have all been amazing, ...
...dangerously close to emo. They are known for extremely simple, yet satisfying guitar riffs and bass lines. The guitar revolves mainly around power chords (the easiest type of chord in guitar-playing) and is extremely simple to play. This is one of the reasons I like and dislike them. ...I first heard this on MTV’s The Leak, a section of their web page where they preview an album in its entirety the week prior to its official release. Not being one to really take notice of MTV, it took pure luck to come across it, but being the huge Green Day fan that I am, I had to spoil it for myself and have a listen. So, as the tracks went by, my heart raced faster with every minute, listening to the finest music that Green Day have ever made. With the exception of ‘Basket Case’ and ‘Good Riddance (Time Of Your Life)’, this could easily be Green Day’s very own greatest hits. Being from the UK, it was released a day earlier here than in the US, giving me full opportunity to listen …. and listen …… and listen, before most other people had the chance. ...Yes, before you say it, I know this may be incorrectly categorised but having heard Green Day's new album, American Idiot, prior to Monday's release date I thought I should share my views with you. For a band that have released album after album of stirring pop-punk, you'd be forgiven for thinking that they would finally produce a bad album..........NO CHANCE ! 'American Idiot' is yet another slice of Green Day at their incredible best. With this record supposedly very personal to Billie Joe Armstrong and with the obvious Anti-America feel to it, this may be the record that makes them legends, or sees them sink below their homeland for the stand that they have taken. But as a fan, all I can say to the guys, is THANKYOU Opening track 'American Idiot' is a standard Green Day track, re-living Basketcase through the pure energy of it... Read review

He is my uncle's favorite who used to bring cassette tapes of Tom Jones to our house, that'a how I got acquainted with his music. The singer Tom Jones sings very beautifully and always with deep passionate feelings.He has a very captivating high quality voice that immortalized great songs such as "My Elusive Dream", :One Day Soon", "She's A Lady", "Green Green Grass","Help Yourself", "Delilah", "I Who Have Nothing", "I Believe" and many other great hits. His rendition of the song "Green Green Graee" and "I Believe" was just marvelous. ...of an automobile in a hailstorm. I remember in childhood how cooking up amazing tales and learning to spell seemed to be my true "raison d'etre", or reason to be. Looking back now it becomes painfully obvious to me that any writer will most likely endure isolation from the masses simply because of their tendency to think and re-think ideals. Though my inspiration and drive seem to be missing, my passion for language will never be left out in the cold. Even now in this recession, I am ever vigilant that if I press on and stay persistent, the fire will return to me just as the green to foliage in the spring. I will continue to write these words regardless if anyone listens or cares, because they are eternal. Words are everlasting. If one day my words prove useful to society in some way, then I can die happily. Until that day, I will remain silent... Read review
