Review of ATI FireMV 2400 PCI Express by BaTheWar

Advantages: Setup was without any problems
Disadvantages: Price a little high

...Knowledge Base section of the ATI FireMV website (accessed through contact us-->knowledge base) and made sure I have the .NET framework installed, along with a hot fix from Microsoft. I then opened up the system and inserted the card without a hitch. I should mention that the box contains both a full and half length bracket so there is no need to buy a half length bracket for small form factor systems.I booted up the computer and ran the installation ... Love these graphics!
Review of ATI RADEON X1900 GT by Justine82

Advantages: Excellent quality
Disadvantages: Expensive and sometimes my computer doesn't detect it

I purchased this video card so I could upgrade my computer and play some games on it. I mostly play Sims2 games so I probably spent more than I needed to but I have really enjoyed the awesome graphics. The video card was surprisingly easy for me to install. This was the first time I ever opened up my computer so I was really what you would call a beginner when it came to installing it. It took very little time to install and the instructions were ...
...didn't have to call a friend to install it. Games aren't the only thing that look great with this video card. I love watching movies on my computer just because it looks so good. It is really great and probably more than I needed but I wouldn't want to have anything less after seeing it. My husband was delighted with the fact that you can hook an HD screen up to it and since he is a gamer he decided to upgrade from our old monitor. The video card ... Read review

XFX GeForce 8600 GT
Review of XFX GeForce 8600 GT by xiaojun111

Advantages: good picture quality, stable, easy to install, cheap
Disadvantages: none

I have bought this XFX GeForce 8600GT to replace my old one. I always look for a relatively cheap video card that still is able to run new game well. Although I am a crazy gamer, I could not justify in my mind spending over $400 for a video card just to make game playing more enjoyable. So I saw lots of products and read many reviews online, at last I decided to purchase this card. This is a great card with the inexpensive price. It almost meets ...
...end game (including Timeshift, Gears of Wars, Hellgate London). I can play any of the newer FPS games without any problem. It installed easily and quickly. The VGA and DVI displays both look great under the Windows Vista system, and it supports the DirectX10. I was extremely shocked at the price for such high quality If you are looking for an inexpensive upgrading or replacing for an older machine that will allow you to run almost any game on the ... eVGA's 7950GT
Review of EVGA e-GeForce 7950 GT by Calren

Advantages: quality, respectable fps rate, stability
Disadvantages: getting old, newer models on the market

...NOT be removed, because while eVGA is the only graphics card manufacturer I can think of that doesn't outright void the warrenty for putting an aftermarket fan on, if you do not know what you're doing you will void your warrenty and perhaps end up with an expensive paperweight. Overall I'm happy with this card, and hope it keeps up with gaming for a few more years before I need to do another upgrade. ... Read review
