The Gnet BB2084 is an "all in one" new generation ADSL2/2+ modem/router that fully complies with ANSI T1.413 Issue 2, ITU-T G.992.1 (G.dmt), G.992.2 (G.lite), G.992.3 (G.dmt.bis), G.992.4 (G.lite.bis) and G.992.5 (ADSL 2+) ADSL/ADSL2/ADSL2+ standards. The BB2084 combines, in a single unit, an ADSL2/2+ modem, an 802.11g 54 Mbps Wireless Access Point, a 4 port Ethernet switch, a versatile NAT router and a configurable firewall. Support for the latest ADSL2/2+ standards enable the BB2084 to offer users download speeds of up to 24 Mbps, upload speeds of up to 1 Mbps and a working range of up to 22, 000 feet. With wireless speeds of up to 54 Mbps, the BB2084 brings mobility and superior performance to Internet access in both home and office environments. In addition, advanced wireless security and multiple firewall features provide strong security for the network. ADSL2/2+ specific features include power management modes, fast synchronization and comprehensive diagnostics ensuring easy deployment in any network environment. The BB2084 is fully compatible with existing ADSL networks allowing for a smooth upgrade to the new ADSL 2/2+ technology.
