I purchased this grill to use while we lived in a condo and was not able to have a space to grill outside. For the price on it, it isn't bad. BUT be prepared to spend a while at cleaning it up. The grill doesn't have any way of turning the heat up or down so you better not leave it alone. The grill plates are NOT removable as some of the others ones are. The grill is teflon coated so food don't stick. It is kinda bulky and therefore cannot sit nicely on the countertop. If I had to do this over, I would pick a smaller version and one that you can take the plates in and out for cleaning , also one that the temperature could be regulated.
