I love paninis. That is why I bought this grill. I am happy to report that if you want something that will grill your paninis then this 'Lean Mean Fat Reducing Grilling Machine' will do the trick.
It comes with: a drip tray, a scraper, 2 scouring/sponge pads and a cookbook (however, for some reason mine never did).
The grill is on a slight angle so that oil and fat will run down into the drip tray. Because of that, I find that it works great when you cook bacon or other fatty foods in it which you wish to rid of excess oil/fat.
Also, it is made with non-stick Teflon so clean up is a breeze. I simply wait until it has cooled and then scrap it using the scraper (gets rid of all the big stuff), then I use the sponges provided (sponges have groves in them that fit the grill) to wipe it down.
It would be nice if it had a temperature control on it, but all in all it is a great little machine.
