Oh don't make this mistake ! This was my very first laptop and was a nightmare! This computer was nothing but a lemon and Gateway refused to help. This computer was in the shop more than it was in my hands. The power cord and the battery were JUNK. I eventually just threw this computer away. It was a total waist of money. I owned this computer for a total of about 6 months. Gateway is now in a class action law suit regarding all Solo class computers. Apparently I wasn't the only one having this issue. I took very good care of my computer but was told by Gateway it was "worn". If you buy a Gateway , plan on talking to the customer service department often and they are not only rude but unhelpful and uncaring. I wouldn't recommend Gateway to even my worst enemy.
