Gateway GT 5692 - Phenom X3 8450 2.1 GHz

No home brand PC is going to be as much bang for the buck as one you build yourself, but I have to say this machine is a beast. Especially with 64-bit Vista. The machine, including hard drive, is so quiet that most of the time I wouldn't think it was even running if the blue light wasn't on. It's blazing fast, too. The integrated graphics on-board are quite good, as well. I can finally play Oblivion without issue, although I may buy a real 3d card to take more of the load later on. If you want speed...this thing has definitely got it.
