The name of Garmin has convinced me, and I believe that in recent times has exceeded its famous + competitor.
After a wander among the showcase where they were exposed boaters, and after a careful reading of characteristics, I decided: Garmin Nuvi 200 ...

Advantages: Easy to use and extremely helpful Disadvantages: Can take a few minutes to locate the satellite and start working
...since sliced bread. The Garmin nüvi 200 is a life saver. The preloaded maps make it as easy as turning it on and going. The touch screen makes things simple and there are many different features that make it easy to use. One feature that saves time is the "favorites" folder. On my garmin my home location is programmed in so whenever i need to get home, its just one or two clicks away. Also a "recently found" folder lets you see your last few destinations ... ...restaurants, stores, and other areas of interest. Going to garmin.com allows you to download games, maps, and different vehicle icons for your garmin (must go out and buy a chord for this... $15 at wal-mart). All in all this is a great product that won't break the bank. ...

Advantages: Big screen and very intuitive route navigation Disadvantages: Map in rough
So I turn on this GPS, hence will just only find two choice. That is seeing map and determine address. It is true easy to, but when I input the address, hence will enter menu and menu again so that is disturb enough. So address have been written, This GPS represent most 'leading' in finding address. Thank with screen 4.3 inch widescreen and also arrangement mount detail in map so that map which I see to become nattily. It is true difficult arrangement ... ...- To Nuvi 200 firmware was already 3:40 a hidden tracklog support. - Map of Asia Routable (requires an additional Card SD, SD Card does not include additional / can bring their own, with a capacity of 1GB). This map consists of countries: Thailand, Taiwan, Sri Lanka, Philippines, Japan, Czech Republic, Cambodia, and Singapore-Malaysia - Firmware the latest or best. - Already given vehicle icon optional choice for the icon image car it (70MB total). ...

Advantages: Easy to use, does what it's supposed to do! Disadvantages: Satellite pairing takes ages, no mains charger!
...reading, I came across the Garmin Nuvi 200w, and a sat nav system that seemed to impress greatly, so i decided to take the plunge and bought one.
Much like many of the reviews I had read on the Nuvi 200w, my first impressions of it were very good. I bought the system off the Littlewoods website, as it had been reduced in a seasonal sale that they were having. This meant that the system was on offer for around £30 less than on any other reputable ... ...not always convenient.
The Garmin Nuvi 200w is a very nice looking piece of kit. It is silver and grey in colour, and it's actual dimensions are 4.8"x2.9"x0.8". It is a very solidly built system, and also has a little bit of weight to it to give it a good quality feel. The screen is a very nice 480x272 pixel widescreen, with a very impressive, brightly coloured touch screen, sunlight readable, anti-glare display. Navigating through the systems menu's ...

I've owned this Garmin for about 2 months now. I wanted a GPS, but I needed a cheap, and simple one. I'm a simple kind of gal. :) So far its worked well. I have no experience with other models, so I can't really compare it to others. I've noticed it doesn't pick up on new roads sometimes, and there are times that when I'm at my destination, the unit shows me out in the middle of nowhere. It has gotten me to where I have wanted to go, which is what I wanted. I also noticed at night, it changes to night mode which I never knew it did.

...of the past, much like tv's. After extensive researching, price comparison and review reading, I came across the GarminNuvi200w, and a sat nav system that seemed to impress greatly, so i decided to take the plunge and bought one.
Much like many of the reviews I had read on the Nuvi200w, my first impressions of it were very good. I bought the system off the Littlewoods website, as it had been reduced in a seasonal sale that they were having. This meant that the system was on offer for around £30 less than on any other reputable site that I could find it on. The product was well packaged, securely and compactly fitted to an inner cardboard shelf, that meant that the sat nav was unable to move or rattle within the box, therefor limiting the chance of damage during postal delivery to a minimum. Included in the box was the Nuvi200w sat nav system...

Advantages price, maps, points of interest, speed camera warnings Disadvantages extra maps/updates pricy
...Just prior to going on holiday this year we decided to treat ourselves to a SatNav. Most of the bells & whistles the more pricy units have wasn't of interest to us, we just wanted something basic. My wife had used a TomTom in someone else's car so we wandered down to Halfords with something similar in mind.
Having spent half an hour perusing about 20 different units none of which stood out, we grabbed a passing salesbod and asked for help. He immedietly pointed to the Garmin and rattled off a dozen reasons why, most of which blurred into a realisation that the stickers that showed the features on each unit were lying i.e. he said it had post code navigation, the stickers said not. Anyway, time was moving on so we grabbed one and paid the £165 it cost at the time.
Having got home, the first thing I did was go online and check other...

Garmin nuvi 200W
Review of Garminnuvi200W by

Advantages small compact, easy to put in pocket or bag. Disadvantages Low battery life. No home charger. Need to charge from car
...Operating the unit is easy. One slide switch on top to start it up. This can also be locked. It has a full post code entry. If you dont have a house number to enter after the post code then it will take you to the centre of the postcode you have just entered. Also you can search just for city. Also you can just use the map function if you want to find your own way. There are plenty of extras in it such as "Favourites" and searching for entertainment, resteraunts, museams and things like that. There is a handy trip meter which also tells you the speed. Speed camara and speed check areas come up as a red band with a verbal warning. On screen graphics are good and can be + or - to your liking. Sound is good. Bright enough 4 daylight. No house charger with it though just car charger. You can also set it to be used as a pedestrian unit, so...
