As the entry-level model in the series of Nuvi, the Garmin Nuvi 200 is a very basic feature set. It comes loaded with maps of the United States, from Hawaii, and Puerto Rico, but lack detailed maps of Alaska and Canada. You can begin planning a trip in a number of ways, including incorporating a specific direction, choosing a point of interest (POI), selecting a location recent entry, or by selecting a location from your list of bookmarks. Of course, if you do not need the address, you can just take the Nuvi track your movement by tapping the map of vision. The system can generate addresses for the fastest time, shortest distance, or the way, and you can send to prevent certain types of road, such as toll roads and highways. And not think you restrict to only use the system in your car, there are adjustments for the pedestrian, bicycle, car, bus and modes. The Nuvi 200 offers directions turn-by-turn, text and voice-directed, but not functionality supports text-to-speech. This means that the system does not speak real names of the streets; instead, we give directions as more generic, "turn right at 500 feet." The Nuvi 200 also supports the automatic recalculation of the route and includes a function of diversion if you want to avoid a certain piece of the path given. The maps are available in 2D and 3D vision with colors of the day or night, and you can change it so that the north is always at the top of your screen or the direction in which you are driving. A plus and minus icon on the map display allows approaches inside and out, and there is also a page of information that the trip displays your speed, direction, time of travel, and so forth
