As someone with little-to-no natural sense of direction, whenever I would venture off somewhere I brought along a printed map and directions that I'd found online. Of course, the maps weren't always accurate, and if I'd accidentally made the wrong turn ten minutes ago, I'd most likely have to turn all the way around and attempt to find my own way...again.
Along came the Garmin, and suddenly, those road trips are a lot less daunting. I can find gas stations or grocery stores from wherever I am, and if I get a little lost, the Garmin can easily guide me on the best route to where I'm going. And with the Garmin, I can make detours, or change my destination, without having to worry about how I'll get there. The menus are very user friendly, with options to make your Garmin customized to your needs and preferences.
I no longer leave home without it.
