Manufacturer's product description
In-car navigation has never been easier - or more affordable. StreetPilot "c-series" GPS navigators feature a simple touchscreen interface, with automatic route calculation to any destination and turn-by-turn voice-prompted directions along the way. Selecting a destination is straightforward and requires only a limited amount of input from the user. Plus, the StreetPilot c320 allows you to choose between a three-dimensional navigation view or the more traditional "bird's eye" overhead view. For budget-conscious users who only require detailed maps for a limited area, the StreetPilot c320 features an SD card slot, a 128MB SD card, and MapSource City Select street data on CD-ROM. The user simply selects the specific area of interest and the data is transferred from a PC via a fast USB connection. The centerpiece of both units is a bright, 3.5-inch diagonal, 16-bit color display that makes navigation a snap. The StreetPilot c320 features dual integrated speakers for high-quality voice prompts, and an internal lithium-ion battery for out-of-car route planning. The new StreetPilot c-series boasts distinctive and sleek styling - the only buttons are a rotary volume knob and an on/off switch. The device is secured by a suction-mount cradle that fastens to the windshield for easy portability between vehicles.

...Me and my dad had been looking for a GPS system for his car for a little while, there are soo many to choose from but we opted for the GarminStreetPilotC320.
When the product first arrived we weren't sure how difficult the system would be to set up but it was relativily easy to install and easy to mount on the dashboard. The GarminStreetPilot has pre installed maps and POI's for the whole of the UK. Once set up the screen clarity and clearness is unbelievably good.
Using the GarminStreetPilotC320:
The GPS is very user-friendly and the GUI is simple and understandable. The first time we used the GarminStreetPilot was when we travelled from Northampton to Sheffield for a university open day. Selecting the destination is extremely straightforward and requires a minimum amount of input from the user. Another strength...

Advantages Came free with the car Disadvantages Poor Support, Poor Satelite Reception, Inaccurate POI, User POI limited
...further copied emails to the CEO.
Also the unit is not very feature rich, particularly on POI (You can create your own on a Pc and download, but you cant create custom POI catefories as you travel around as you can on my wifes TOM TOM).
Finally the POIs that come with it are inaccurate. I indicated the Cinema in Barnestaple UK. - It correctly identified the street (Boutport), but 1 - put the cinema at the wrong end of it (quite a long street) 2 - tried to send me the wrong way down a series of one way streets ( the map versions were the latest at the time).
In short I would avoid any Garmin product, because If it goes wrong, you will have to fight tooth and nail to get decent support out of them...

...I recently decided to invest in a satellite navigation system as I was going on a driving holiday to France and as my French wasn't too good, didn't fancy having to ask for directions.
After much research I opted for the GARMINC-320StreetPilot model as it had all the features I wanted and was competitively priced plus it promised pre-loaded maps of France which was ideal for my trip.
