Advantages: Gets you where you're going Disadvantages: Slightly bulky, volume is touchy
I purchased this unit at a "Black Friday" sale at Wal-mart this past year. It was an early Christmas present to myself, and I can't be happier with it!
With my home business, I have to travel often in my local area. It was getting tiresome printing out directions from a map site, and having to look at them in a dark car. This unit has a bright, easy-to-read screen, and gives clear directions in real-time. I rarely miss a turn now, and if I do, I ... ..."recalculating," and it soon directs me back where I need to be. The interface is very user-friendly, and I've hardly had to look at the manual to figure out how to use it.
This is also a good unit for travel, as I can find any food or entertainment places nearby, wherever I am. I've been lost in many a big city before... not any longer! You can also stop and find food, gas, or entertainment along your current route, which helps in trip planning.

Advantages: Very affordable and easy to use. Disadvantages: The maps are outdated and should be upgraded if possible.
I am a Real Estate Agent, so I spend a lot of time traveling locally, looking for houses, buildings and land in places I've never been before. This GPS system has been a god send for me. My husband bought the GPS StreetPilot for me as a Christmas gift, and I was thrilled. The price was extremely affordable and has been more than worth it. I was not familiar with navigational systems before owning this one. I was under the impression that a monthly ... ...Besides the good price, I have found the system to be very easy to learn and to operate. It is very user friendly. You can save your favorite locations, which includes home, and it also saves your "recent" locations as well. If you need to use an address for a second time, it is there at the touch of your screen. You do not have to re-enter it. You can find anything you want from wherever you are. You can find gas stations, restaurants, hotels, etc. ...

Advantages: Can not only find addresses, but local attractions at the push of a button. Disadvantages: Slightly bulky
...fiancé and I received this Garmin unit and we couldn't be happier. We aren't exactly the best people with directions, and if we get lost, it becomes a very stressful time for both of us.
Enter the Garmin, which allows us to not only input specific locations for us to get to, but also allows us to search for nearby locations from where we are.
Say for example, that we are driving to a friend's house. We input their address and the Garmin proceeds ... ...remember to hook up the Garmin to your home computer as much as possible, as you dont' want your maps to become outdated. There is nothing worse than asking the Garmin to take you somewhere, and the place isn't there any longer because you haven't updated the software.
The unit can be charged through a cigarette lighter or power unit in the car, and it also comes with a window suction cup so that you can place the unit anywhere you like on the inside ...

Love the voice feature, the map section is easier to program, and LOVE the categories...no more being lost!! Loved the deal I got on this through e-bay, received excellent consumer reports for GPS. Decided to buy it after driving lost through town in a rain storm, and realizing that I could fix the lost part at least. Wish it worked more easily with multiple location trips, and that it linked into Google maps, so I could create a trip and then upload ... ...destination. It is eerily accurate. The new game for the driver is to make her increase/decrease time of destination. Also love the average speed feature and that it saves the mileage. This is easy to operate and read. MOST of the time it is correct, but once in a while does not sem to give accurate directions. Nice unit. ...

My work takes me to many different locations. With my "Ma Garmin" (GPS) I don't worry about finding the address, she directs me right there. Also tells me the time I will arrive and how many miles it is. She also locates gas stations and eating estabilshments along the way. I would certainly be LOST without her

Manufacturer's product description
In-car navigation has never been easier - or more affordable. StreetPilot "c-series" GPS navigators feature a simple touchscreen interface, with automatic route calculation to any destination and turn-by-turn voice-prompted directions along the way. Selecting a destination is straightforward and requires only a limited amount of input from the user. Plus, the StreetPilot c330 allows you to choose between a three-dimensional navigation view or the more traditional "bird's eye" overhead view. The c330 comes factory preloaded with MapSource City Select map data. The centerpiece of both units is a bright, 3.5-inch diagonal, 16-bit color display that makes navigation a snap. The new StreetPilot c-series boasts distinctive and sleek styling - the only buttons are a rotary volume knob and an on/off switch. The device is secured by a suction-mount cradle that fastens to the windshield for easy portability between vehicles. Users can customize their unit's appearance with an array of colored faceplates (sold separately). This product features turn-by-turn voice prompted directions in Mandarin Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Thai, or Taiwanese.
