Advantages: Can not only find addresses, but local attractions at the push of a button. Disadvantages: Slightly bulky
...and find a movie theater. Well you would click on the Food button and it will find either all types of food in the area, or you can specify a specific type of eatery. Same thing for movie theaters, and you can also find any number of attractions. You could even type in "Comic" and find the closest comic shop.
That's all the great features that you have, and the user interface is so simple that anyone will be able to do any of these functions very quickly after purchase.
Other things to take note is that the unit is slightly bulky. This isn't a flat screen GPS, it does have a back to it. It isn't that big of a deal, but it does have to be said.
Other than that, please remember to hook up the Garmin to your home computer as much as possible, as you dont' want your maps to become outdated. There is nothing worse than asking the Garmin...

Advantages Ease of use Disadvantages None whatsoever...
...Well, I never imagined a cable like this could add so much functionality adn interest to a simple navigational item. The potential of a Garmin is enormous even without the PC interface but once you have this cable it really does help the GPS unit and PC/laptop to come alive together as they work in unison. With the right mapping software the world is your oyster as you are enabled to upload, download and track where you want to go, are going or have already been. Software enables all kinds of mapping including some 3D modeling and can therefore even help you plan some amazing complicated routes in highland areas. In addition to all of this, if you’re happy to run a laptop in the car then the fact that you can track liev means that you acn almost use it as a sat nav system.
Overall, highly recommended......

Advantages rugged, waterproof, reliable, accurate Disadvantages none
...My wife and i have a hobby called Geocaching and our Garmin Geko 201 is invaluable to us. Our hobby involves downloading co-ordinates to the PC, which we can then transfer to the Garmin via a serial cable. You can of course input them manually.
My advice is to read the manual carefully as it may not be the most obvious piece of kit to use. (isn't that what manuals are for? ) Once you get used to it it is a very simple unit to use.
It is rugged, waterproof and has a good battery life. I believe it is even possible to link to some mobile phones such as Smartphones but i have not tried?
It has a breadcrumb feature so that you can retrace your step, current speed, average speed, distance covered and many more useful features that you will find handy, but;
The most important thing is that it is accurate. We have to find objects the size...

Snooper Indago
Review of Snooper Indago by

Advantages Clear Screen, easy set up, good clear instructions Disadvantages Cost, loading addresses without postcode
...I bought mine to replace a Garmin V GPS and a snooper road angel thus reducing the number of items on the dash. The large colour screen is easy to read. The voice guidance (which can be turned off) gives very clear and precise intructions.
Mine came with the whole of the UK maps on a SD card, which was a major advantage for me, Previously I had to download maps from my pc to my Garmin V. You can buy a European card (which includes UK - but this is also expensive).
You can set places you go to often (home, work etc.) and other places you can find by postcode. If you don't know the full postcode, it will accept a part postcode. It also has a number of attractions already built in - which is very useful. There are very few buttons as most inputs are made via the touch screen. If you do not know a postcode, you can still use...
