The GVN 52 is a remote GPS sensor designed to be integrated with factory audio/video entertainment systems in vehicles, allowing aftermarket onboard screens to function much like a StreetPilot car navigation system. Look up and route directly to specific addressees or point of interests - including restaurants, hotels, gas stations retail shops or ATMs - while viewing their exact location on an electronic moving map. The GVN 52 has a "spoken text" voice prompt capability, which can be used to identify turns by street name. These turn-by-turn voice cues can be amplified through the car audio system's speakers, while the vehicle's video display shows the street map.
