Advantages GPS, Heartrate monitor, Training Manager,Easy to change between Activities Disadvantages Does not work as accurately in built-up areas or between thick trees
...The GarminForerunner301 is a training tool for the multi-sport fanatics, complete with timekeeping, GPS and heartrate monitor capabilities.
It is one of my training partners that goes along on every cycle and run that I do.

How much have I improved since last month? Oh yes, that's when I was chased by that dog! I could tell because my speed had suddenly shot up along with my heart rate.
Heart rate, mmm that can be a little hit and miss. The garmin sometimes loses its signal shooting my HR up and giving me a false reading. I used to struggle to see...
