The Garmin GPSMAP 60 CSx is the extended Version of the GPSMAP 60 Cx. While the case is same size and format, the CSx shows up with a barometric altimeter and an electronic compass. I use it for several purposes. Traveling statistics, autorouting, topo/directions and waypoint navigation are those functions I mainly use. The intuitive interface helps to use the software without having to read the manual.
A basemap is installed ex factory, with the ... ...on 'bad roads'). Unfortunately, Garmin doesn't offer a mounting for motocycles, so I had to get a 3rd party retainer from Europe (Touratech)
The CSx 60 runs with 2AA batteries. Using powercables (not delivered), the device is able to run with external powersources (carbatteries) and is also able to deal with AA-rechargable batteries (has to be activated if you want to use it). absolutely love it!!! It is so quick. We bought it to go to florida with and we NEVER got lost. It was quick with the recalculation when i missed my turn (my error). The size is perfect. The features are perfect. It will even find points of inteterest really fast. One of the best features is how it keeps track of your mileage for the trip. ...decided to go with the Garmin Nuvi 650. It was the cheapest one with the most features we wanted. We are both very happy with it!
Pros:
