Advantages: Reliability, extensive mapping Disadvantages: Cost, lack of functions
...bit more functionality then you could go for the 370 which has a lot of those type of fucntions, but then it's more expensive - to be honest, I'd go for a cheaper one as I think you're really paying through the nose for the Garmin name on this one. ...

Advantages: Plenty of features, easy to read Disadvantages: Battery life, locking on to satellites
This GPS is easy to read whilst on the move and simple to operate, but it has a history of problems trying to locate a strong eough signal to function. This is a problem common to all GPS systems, but some overcome it better than others.
So for all the functionality in the world, if you go running in an area with limited coverage, there's no point in buying this product, so do your research first - it may well not be the fault of the Forerunner ... ...quite bulky, certainly compared to other similar ones i"ve had before, but like changing your watch, you get used to that very quickly. It does suffer from poor battery life, which, combined with the other comments I've made, point me to say - a good product with too many down sides, so avoid it. ...

Advantages: cheap Disadvantages: doesn't get a signal, hardships with updating hardware
I bought it recently, and at first it got some satellite signal, then the signal died!!! And the GPS required "Upgrading the firmware" all the time. Also I didn't like that Usb cable didn't go with the product and finally I had to buy usb cable, and when I bought it, I couldn't update anything because there were no space at all on the GPS. And then I tried to delete some files like voice, and some languages that I dont use but stil it required more ...

Advantages: compact, affordable, text to speech, millions of POI Disadvantages: not widescreen, funny pronunciations, missing POI
I recently got a Mio Moov 200 for my birthday, and I've been using almost daily every since (5 months). The unit, despite being one of the cheaper lower end models, is a great little piece of technology. It is one of the cheaper units to have Text-to-speech spoken directions, millions of points of interest, and good sound despite the tiny speaker.
The only problems I've had with the unit include some of the street names being spoken incorrectly ... ...being included in the database. For example, one of our local gas station chains is never included in the database, despite being quite numerous in the area. Things I really like with the unit include the text to speech (even with the funny pronunciations), how it clearly announces upcoming turns, the POI database (even with the missing ones, hopefully to be fixed in an upcoming update) as well as decent routing. The estimated times of arrival are ...

Advantages: may be mounted or hand-held, touch screen, good coverage Disadvantages: slightly clunky interface
The Easy Street is the first GPS I have owned, personally. It does the job of navigating as well as other GPS units I've seen, including my husband's hand-held Garmin and my parents' built-in Lexus GPS. The Easy Street's big, bright touch pad screen is easy to read and the versatility of a windshield mount (included) or handheld function makes it very convenient to use. The lodging/gas/restaurant search is a great feature, especially on long road ...
