Advantages: Amazing accuracy and fast satellite acquisition time
Disadvantages: No Mac OS compatibility
Just when you thought Garmin had cornered the market on powerful, affordable, and effective wrist-mounted GPS devices, here comes the Forerunner 305. While no device this compact can ... ...reached a pinnacle with the Garmin Forerunner 301. While the 301 delivered accurate heart rate monitoring, good performance tracking, and decent GPS reception, it didn't quite deliver in the design department. The form factor was bulky and wearing it wasn't much different than duct taping a full-sized GPS device to your wrist.
Not so with the 305. Garmin's engineers obviously burned the midnight oil and have come up with a waterproof design that, ...

Review of TomTom ONE 3rd Edition - GPS receiver 3rd Edition GPS receiver by
lindybrasher
Advantages: Small, Easy to use
Disadvantages: none
I have a friend that loves this GPS. He will not go anywhere without it. He continues to try to get me to buy one and even said he would buy another just so I could have his. Excellent GPS
Review of TomTom GO 720 - GPS receiver 720 GPS receiver by
bboothe83
Advantages: Big Widescreen, Easy to use Controls, Stylish
Disadvantages: Price
...had been looking at the TomTom One, but his unit has much more to offer. It has a bigger widescreen for easy viewing. This really helps when you are trying to look at maps while driving. I have been to some very far out "off the map" places, and this thing has always updated correctly to show exactly where you are and the best route to reach your destination. This unit is a little higher than the TonTom One, but it is well worth it due to the extra ...
