Lots of models will just tell you to turn in "approximately .2 miles", which can get really tricky in a residential area, especially because the gps is accurate only within around 50 feet, so estimating .2 miles can be rough. 2. The Garmin Nuvi is a lot better than all of the other GPS systems out in the market today. The sound is 100% better than any other. When you put in your location and where you need to go it will tell you outloud like any other normal system. The roads on the map are color coated so you know exactally where to go and this makes it very hard to get lost. I bought my TomTom Go 720 about a year ago. I have had great luck using it and really like it alot. It is very easy to use and the menu navigation is very easy. The screen is easy to see night or day with the great feature to change the colors at night to prevent night blindness.
