Magellan Maestro 4210 is a good GPS product. It can read street names. i had been to the US recently where my freind bought one. This product he felt was better than the 800 or 3250. it has widescreen, thin (0.7"), a lot of Points of Interest (6 million should do), and helpful screen guides (I really like the ETA function). now that the cost of GPS products have gone down a bit, it is a good thing to go for one. ...While no GPS is perfect, Sony has done a pretty good job with this one. The 4.8" screen is crisp and bright, touch screen responds well, bluetooth works the best of any other unit I tried. ...to have some issues that Sony claims to have fixed with a firmware update. One of them is the route calculation and recalculation times. IMO this is the major flaw with the unit. While not unbearable, both the calculating route and recalculation are slower than other units. I recently got a Mio Moov 200 for my birthday, and I've been using almost daily every since (5 months). The unit, despite being one of the cheaper lower end models, is a great little piece of technology. It is one of the cheaper units to have Text-to-speech spoken directions, millions of points of interest, and good sound despite the tiny speaker. The only problems I've had with the unit include some of the street names being spoken incorrectly ...
...being included in the database. For example, one of our local gas station chains is never included in the database, despite being quite numerous in the area.
