This is a very thin GPS which is good since it does not take up a lot of room. It is fine for people who need something to give them directions when in unfamiliar territory. It tells you when to turn like as in 500 feet 200 feet 50 feet. Who can possibly strain to read a street name while in traffic? Advantages: Good graphical quality etc Disadvantages: no road names
After using this product for some time now I would like to write a review on it to warn potential buyers. This is similar to another review on this unit and he was very right in what he said. In general, this gadget is just not accurate enough.
When I am driving, it looks cool and high techy but thats pretty much the only completely positive aspect about it!

The Garmin Nuvi is a lot better than all of the other GPS systems out in the market today. The sound is 100% better than any other. When you put in your location and where you need to go it will tell you outloud like any other normal system. I bought my TomTom Go 720 about a year ago. I have had great luck using it and really like it alot. It is very easy to use and the menu navigation is very easy. The screen is easy to see night or day with the great feature to change the colors at night to prevent night blindness. ...lost my maps when updating the software and a call to Garmin had an update DVD on its way to me 2nd day air. They would have updated it immediately online if I had broadband. I highly reccomend this product, buy this and you won't be disappointed. Worth the price! ...
