This is a very thin GPS which is good since it does not take up a lot of room. It is fine for people who need something to give them directions when in unfamiliar territory. It tells you when to turn like as in 500 feet 200 feet 50 feet. Who can possibly strain to read a street name while in traffic? I used 720 for over 6 months of daily usage this is what you need to know. The screen is bright and clear 4.3" LCD touch screen and very easy to read. The screen is customizable, you can download different map colors, customize the readout info, eta, arrival time, etc.. Routing is quick and generally accurate occasionally the routing will not be the optimum way to go , but the final destination is usually 95% accurate. Miss a turn and a new route ...
...software the 720 will update itself with the latest map corrections, a nice feature. Battery life is about 4 hours at 75% brightness setting. The 720 has a SiRFstarIII chipset which very fast acquiring signals. Rarely did I lose a signal. I was amazed. It was excellent in almost every way. The accuracy was perfect, the interference is friendly, and the step-by-step direction system was easy to understand.
