GREAT GPS
Review of Magellan Maestro 3200 by lindybrasher

Advantages: Small and useful
Disadvantages: none

This is a very thin GPS which is good since it does not take up a lot of room. It is fine for people who need something to give them directions when in unfamiliar territory. It tells you when to turn like as in 500 feet 200 feet 50 feet. Who can possibly strain to read a street name while in traffic? I prefer to hear it tell you when to turn by feet since i can slow down knowing that my turn is coming up. If you miss the turn it automatically will ... Read review

Getcha A Garmin!!
Review of Garmin StreetPilot C550 by AshleyWalstrum

Advantages: saves previous directions, easy to use, great search feature
Disadvantages: voice spoken directions are slow and caused me to miss a couple turns

Simple and Easy to use!! When i go on business trips and I need a rental car I always make sure I get the GPS with it. This GPS is the one that is offered at Enterprise (I believe, I'm pretty sure, the rental company is slipping my mind.) and it's not very expensive to rent. It is a must these days to have a GPS when on business trips. These handy dandy devices certainly help me get to where I need to go in a timely manner (which is a plus). I ...
...so if I have to go there again all I have to do is look it up in my previous directions section of the GPS. This product is actually a good price to get one of your own. For what you get and all the features it has it's totally worth it. Another great plus is that you can look up places to go by catagories! I was in Anaheim, CA this year and I wanted Sushi really bad so I just looked up Restraurants and I typed in Sushi and it listed all the places ... Read review

TomTom Go 730
Review of TomTom GO 730 by kissouraces

Advantages: features, unique new technology, accuracy
Disadvantages: a little pricey

...is what this is the TomTom Go 730 from the earlier 720 model? There are two very exciting new features introduced, IQ route and advanced lane guidance. IQ route is pretty exciting and what it does it tells you the best route to take depending on the day, perhaps to take the freeway on a Sunday when it will be relatively quiet and an alternative backstreet route on Monday when it will be very busy. This is pretty amazing making a smartest routing ... Read review

Garmin 350 a perfect GPS system for under $200
Review of Garmin nuvi 350 by RodH

Advantages: nice screen choice of pleasant voices updates avail.
Disadvantages: comes with 2007 map update request 2008 installed

...would want in a GPS. Garmin 350 came out on top, surprisingly over it's new and improved 360 model. Tom-Tom and Magellan were also on my short list with magellan dropping out rapidly. as for fast satellite acquisition time...you will travel 3 or 4 miles before acquiring the maps, now is that quick enough for you? It works for me since I drive from a small town to a larger town regularly, I pretty much don't need "Instantaneous" mapping. Reception ...
...rather than connecting to the garmin site. A lot of country roads in my area have been renamed and Garmin 2007 maps (included) do not reflect those name changes. As for a GPS that can do it's job .... the 350 is a fine example of technology at its best. on a scale of 1-10, it gets a very SOLID 8.5. You don't need anything More than the Garmin 350 and there are a lot of inferior products out there that cost more money. ... Read review
