I bought Magellan RoadMate 1412 about 3months back when i was moving from Chicago to New York. We decided to get this from COSTCO you know as they have "no frills" return policy. But since we bought it it never left our our, its has become part of all our travel adventures. It has comprehensive directory assistance features, voice prompts and bright big screen to look at, helps in finding nearby attractions ..all in all a good value for money buy. ... Read review

The tomtom works awesome, its ready to use out of the box, comes preloaded with US and Canada maps, the screen is bigger, it never lagged, its very fast at rerouting. Touch screen works great.
