Awesome talking GPS system.
Review of Magellan Maestro 4200 - GPS receiver 4200 GPS receiver by st0rmy

Advantages: Great quality, clear screen, easy to use, all out exceptional
Disadvantages: NONE! :D

...want, I really love this Magellan Maestro 4200 GPS receiver. This has been one of my best purchases in the past year, the screen is nice and clear, the street names are always correct, it will redirect you if you happen to take the wrong turn some where. It also announces out loud where you should go, so you can safely drive with your hands on the wheel and your eyes on the road. The design in itself is even really nice, it's sleek and compact and ... Read review

garmin 350
Review of Garmin nüvi 350 - GPS receiver 350 GPS receiver by arcusin13

Advantages: very fast and quiet
Disadvantages: a bit expensive

The Garmin Nüvi 350 is based on the SiRFstarIII GPS chip, which boasts fast satellite-acquisition times and improved GPS-signal reception in areas where the view of the sky may be partially blocked by dense foliage or tall buildings. In addition to voice-guided, turn-by-turn driving directions, the Nüvi offers all the usual features we've come to expect from today's crop of in-car navigation systems, including automatic routing, the ability to save ...
...when you veer off course, and 2D and 3D map views. It also has text-to-speech directions through which the actual street name is spoken, and you can hook up an optional FM traffic receiver to obtain real-time traffic alerts. Unfortunately, the receiver will set you back another $214 for the hardware, and there's a $60-per-year subscription fee. ... Read review

Advantages: To numerous to mention
Disadvantages: sometimes it will lead you to resturants that are no longer there. Minor Inconvenience.

This is our first experience with a portable GPS system and we LOVE it! We call her Lucy lol because it has a woman's voice on it. The Gps is loaded with programs for restaurants, gas, lodging, parks and recreational activities, banks and just about anything else you would need to find in an area that you might be traveling in. There is also software for aubile books, and MP3 players. The maps so far have not led us astray, however, sometimes it ... Read review
