This is a great GPS. i love it, i am a hunter so it is a great hand held GPS for me. I like the color screen, and it maps my direction very well, it has never gotten me lost yet. Turn on is very easy, loading the maps are very easy. Has 8 MB so that is a good amount, good for me because i have my local maps in mine not the America maps. The Garmin GPSMAP 60 CSx is the extended Version of the GPSMAP 60 Cx. While the case is same size and format, the CSx shows up with a barometric altimeter and an electronic compass. I use it for several purposes. Traveling statistics, autorouting, topo/directions and waypoint navigation are those functions I mainly use. The intuitive interface helps to use the software without having to read the manual.
A basemap is installed ex factory, with the ... ...on 'bad roads'). Unfortunately, Garmin doesn't offer a mounting for motocycles, so I had to get a 3rd party retainer from Europe (Touratech)
The CSx 60 runs with 2AA batteries. Using powercables (not delivered), the device is able to run with external powersources (carbatteries) and is also able to deal with AA-rechargable batteries (has to be activated if you want to use it). Advantages: Good graphical quality etc Disadvantages: no road names
After using this product for some time now I would like to write a review on it to warn potential buyers. This is similar to another review on this unit and he was very right in what he said. In general, this gadget is just not accurate enough.
When I am driving, it looks cool and high techy but thats pretty much the only completely positive aspect about it!
It is very difficult to follow at times because there arent road names just directions ...

Advantages: Voice Navigation, easy to use even for a beginner. Disadvantages: Loses signal at times.
