Advantages Good Performance Disadvantages Not easy to use as a programmer
...Having bought this product second hand I feel I can objectively give my opinion on how well this product performs, as I was not biased at the point of sale by its looks, or features. As a web developer I use computers almost constantly so ease of use is of utmost importance, and unfortunately for me I do not find this a user friendly piece of equipment.
Let me start with the positives. It is a nice size and although quite heavy it is of good build quality. Advantages Extremly long battery life. Disadvantages Not as light as a laptop can be. Very expensive.
...The laptop itself is a very good one, and unless you need a laptop for anything really specific, such as 'hardcore' gaming, or for downloading films, music, tv programsthen it will suit all your needs. It has a goos sized hard-drive and R.A.M. I have found the battery time, like many laptops, has reduced by quite a lot over the time I have had it, now lasting little over an hour after being fully charged, and that is having had the laptop about a year and a half. Although a reasonable weight, I have had lighter laptops and I have found on longer journeys or while carrying the laptop with me in a bag it is actually a fairly major problem compared to laptops such as the Apple laptops. The S7110 seems a little over-priced. I can't really see what more you are getting for your money than you would having brought another laptop. Overall...
