...These Fujitsu Siemens speakers came supplied with the Fujitsu Scenic W series of computers. We have a number of these computers at work and although these speakers aren't exactly the cutting edge of sonic technology, they aren’t too bad for a freebie! Specs The speakers have a maximum output of 8 watts. These doesn't sound like a lot, but it is perfectly adequate for most of the sounds made by our PCs at work! The speakers are 7" in height., 4" in depth and 3" in width, so they are fairly compact and don't take up too much room on the desk. On the front of the speaker unit is a grill to allow the sound to be pushed through. There is also a port at the top of each speaker unit, which presumably is some sort of bass horn and allows some bottom end to be produced. The colour is, surprise, surprise...beige! Inside... ...Fujitsu Siemens is a company known worldwide, renowned for its latest technological inventions and new approaches to hot gadgets. Fujitsu Siemens Computer supply a good, sturdy range of computer accessories such as RAM, disk drives, monitors and even whole computer systems. Speakers are no exception to this rule. When I first bought my computer, brand new as it was, I was pleased to see that it had a nice pair of speakers counted in it. Although the size of the speakers was, and still is quite extortionate in proportion to other speakers on the market, they have a sleek, attractive design. The base of the speakers is cut at a rather odd angle, making the speakers ‘lay back’ when placed properly onto a flat surface. ...well i have had various pc's in my time and often get bored with them and sell them on towards newer models. the last pc i owned had a p4 2.66 ghz processor which was quite decent but ran at around £1000.00 for the basic system. this is about the fujitsu siemens scaleo l system that i have just bought. here are the basics with the new system. 15" tft flatscreen monitor standard fujitsu-siemens keyboard standard fujitsu-siemens scroll mouse standard fujitsu-siemens speakers with 120 watt pmpo athlon xp 2600+ processor 80 gb hdd standard 1.44 mb floppy dvd rom drive dvd+r 4.7gb dvd writer 512 mb ddr ram modem 56k v.92 nvidia geforce 4 graphics windows xp not bad a little package especially when i let you know the current price of the model is only £699.99. this was at pc world. now my old pc was fine...
