The S100FS does not deal with the digital SLR compact form factor at all, and is quite large and heavy. But it feels solid, and the mass, fixed 14.3x zoom manual is a beautiful. We like to tilt the LCD (we are seeing in many of the new DSLR's), and maximum ISO setting of ISO 10000 (at 3 megapixels) is also impressive. But the unique feature of its four S100FS are tocayo simulation film (FS) modes, which are designed to recreate specific types of FujiFilm movie virgin. We assume this would be an invaluable function of a 35mm film photographer nostalgic make the switch to digital, but otherwise appears to be strictly a novelty. However, the ability to match the tone and color reproduction specific 35mm film is something that can only FujiFilm claim, and this is a camera whatever we want
