...I had the pleasure of getting my hands on a demo model from work an it was an experience. This camera looks and feels great, nice and bulky in the hand, might be a little too big for smaller hands. The boot up time is a joy, almost instantaneous from off to shooting that first picture. The wealth of controls this camera has to offer is unparalleled by any bridge camera currently on the market, while all of these features take a while to get used to, soon you'll be familiar enough with them to get professional looking results. The image quality is nice and sharp (daylight, A 5.8 @ 1/2000) and the film simulation does service to the traditional art without the extra post processing needed with other similar camera.... ...of my photos, and if you don't want to go straight to SLR, its a fab bridge camera, which sometimes in my opinion can be better than SLR. Its not the cheapest camera on the market, nor is it the most expensive, I think that the price is right, I wouldn't pay any more for it, and any less would not give it the respect that it deserves.
