The A825 sets new standards for entry-level cameras giving excellent image quality without the fuss of complex controls. Most of the modes have been automated, leaving you free to enjoy your photography without worrying about getting the settings right. At the heart of this camera lies the new 8.3 m pixel Super CCD HR sensor, which is the reason why images of such high quality and clarity can be captured. A sensor of this size means that pictures will be rich in detail and color, and will enable excellent prints to be made at 8" by 10" or even bigger. Almost all compact cameras sport a three times zoom lens. The A825 breaks the mold by offering a four times optical range, equivalent to 39 mm - 156 mm on a 35mm film camera.
