Storing food in the ferezer

If you are a grocery in bulk buyer this review is for you.

Have you ever been at the grocery store and found a deal on a buy one get one free? then another? You think, I HAVE to get the free one.. .it's free! But then you get home and think, where do I store it? I will never use it before it goes bad!

Save space in your freezer and store baggable foods in flat bags. Storing them flat not right up.
Keep the freezer at 0 degrees fahrenheit.
Try to get as much air out of the package as possible
Mark the dates and store by age!
Wrap meats to avoid freezer burn
Allow for expansion when freezing liquids.
Blanch vegetables before freezing. If you're wondering what it means to blanch something. it is to take foods and plunge them into boiling hot water for a few seconds, then drain and put into ice water. This preserves taste and color.
Freeze fresh fruit BEFORE it is ripe or it will be mushy when thawed
fruit can be frozen up to 6 weeks.
