If i wasnt able to freeze bargains i find, I would not eat as well as i do.
I will find bargains and stock up and baggie them and freeze.
Mostly meat as veggies and fruit dont freeze well.
Remeber to use a good ziplock baggie as this will keep the air out. Plastic wrap and foil allows freezer burn which not only affects the tatse of the food but can make you sick.
NEVER freeze pineapple... it releases some chemical that can become toxic, when frozen.
Always remember to use the frozen items within 3-6 months and never re-freeze an item that was previously frozen and then thawed.
Freezing food, its the American way, our large freezers and fridges make it easy to eat well and eat well on a budget!!!
