I bought this kind of freezer a while back and it works really good. It holds up to a lot of food. I have put a lot of food in the door and in the other part. My wife bought this before we had even met. So she has had it for over five years and has not had it to tear up yet. It is a great reliable freezer to have. We are able to place a lot of food into the freezer and it keeps all of it frozen with out any problems. I have had to defrost it a few time but this is normally the thing to do so often. Disadvantages: Manual defrost, but not a big deal to do.

My Mother owned this chest freezer and when she moved in with me, it became mine. She was fond of ordering meat from companies that seemed to deliver whole sides of beef!
