Advantages Plugs into TV or Hi-Fi, size, portability, ease of use. Disadvantages Unable to save playlist.
...This super little unit is a great first time unit for anybody wanting to try moving up to a mediacentre. The menu's are easy to use and uploading media to the unit is a simple as plugging into your pc's usb port and it simply appears as another hard drive.
Storage is more than enough for the first time user.
Size of the unit is surprisingly small which means it will fit in that gap by the TV or the Hi Fi. Although the small LCD screen is sufficient for navigating the main menu's it's a clear advantage to hook up to a TV for optimum viewing results.
On the downside, the lack of not being able to save playlists is sadly a feature that really would have helped this unit. This means that you have to create a playlist every time instead of being able to 'load one you made earlier'
