it's a comedy but it may get you to think deeply. in a sense, Gump is an idiot,he don't have a hign IQ. Some like,before he met President Kennedy,he drinks 15bottles of Dr.Pepper,when he actually comes to meet Kennedy and go to shake hands with him,he can only blurt out,"i got to pee".The humour here derives from Gump's naive ignorance of the social norms limiting what can be said in public about lower bodily functions, and we get a deep pleasure from watching another human being respond naturally to the needs of his body. Besides, in this film we can also feel the love from Gump to his wife, the friendship to his colonol. At the end of the film, Gump have his little son to through the life because his wife was dead.Then, the feather which fly to Gump at the start of the film ,fly away .
