The Dallas Cowboys
Review of Dallas Cowboys by etambe01

Advantages: Great franchise, great tradition, progressive organisation
Disadvantages: Can be Cocky

The Dallas Cowboys are a professional football team in the National football League. They play in the National Football Conference in the NFC East. The Cowboys came into the NFL in 1960 and they had as head coach Tom Landry and as General Manager Tex Schram. The two would guide the franchise deep into the late 1980s when the Cowboys came under a different owner. Coach Landry was known for being a disciplinary and for his innovation in the game. ...
...Stadium. Early Success. The Dallas Cowboys won their first Super bowl in January 1972 after beating the Miami Dolphins by 24 to 3.They went on to win a second one following the 1977 season and were clearly the second most successful football franchise in the 70s,the first being the Pittsburgh Steelers. The Cowboys, through the management of Tex Schram got players such as quarterback Roger Staubach, running back Tony Dorsett and defensive ends Ed ... Read review

The Eyes of Texas are upon you
Review of Texas Longhorns by jtbull46

Advantages: Great program, in the 2nd best conference
Disadvantages: not as good as bama

The university of Texas has one of those storied programs for football. Now it is does not have the mystique of Alabama, but then again very few places do. They compete in the big 12 conference in division 1a and typically have a highly ranked team. Football at Texas began in 1896 And have usually done fairly well. They have produced two Heisman trophy winners in Earl Campbell in 1977 and Ricky Williams in 1998. They have also won four National ...
...2006 RoseBowl. They look poised to do pretty well. Colt McCoy is only a junior and has been starting since he was a freshman. They usually attract some top talent, so I expect great things from them in the future. Key Rivalries of theirs include Oklahoma and Texas A&M ... Read review

What is going on in Quarterback U?
Review of Miami Hurricanes by etambe01

Advantages: Rich Tradition,Great state of Florida
Disadvantages: Some off the field problems

...Miami The University of Miami and Virginia Tech left the Big East and joined the ACC in the 2004/2005 football season. Nicknamed the Canes, the University of Miami has produced some great quarterbacks hence the named quarterback U. The list includes Benie Kosar (Cleveland Browns), Vinny Testaverde (Tampa Bay, Jets, and Cowboys), Kim Kelly (the USFL, Buffalo Bills). The University of Miami has won a total of five national championships the most ...
...History. The University of Miami has not won a national championship since joining the ACC in 2004. The closest they've come is losing that double overtime game to Ohio State in the Fiesta Bowl in 2003. Coker, the man that took them to that near perfect season is gone and their current coach is Randy Shannon. He has been with the program as defensive coordinator for six years. The school's record last year was 5-7 and people who have been around ... Read review

Nebraska football
Review of Nebraska Cornhuskers by jtbull46

Advantages: good tradition and history
Disadvantages: moron ad screwed up

The university of Nebraska has fallen on some pretty hard times as of late. Most of which started when Tom Osbourne decided that he did not want to coach anymore and retired. They began playing in 1890 They have won 5 national titles and 46 conference titles. Three of their championships came during a four year span in 1994, 1995, and 1997As a team they produced three Heisman trophy winners in Johnny Rogers, Mike Rozier, and Eric Crouch. One reason ...
...of the option and back in the day the wishbone. They did not pass much at all. I recall a few games were their quarterback only threw like five passes. That to me is football. Since then they have a more open balanced ( and less effective offense). They have looked to improve though and should be doing better. They have big rivalries with Oklahoma. They are in the same conference and are both storied programs with lots of hardware ( championships ... Read review

Indianapolos Colts
Review of Indianapolis Colts by jtbull46

Advantages: Peyton Manning, Joseph Addai, Marvin Harriosn
Disadvantages: need some help on defense

The Indianapolis Colts are The NFL professional football team from Indiana and compete in the American football South Conference. They have won five NFL championships and two Super Bowl Championships including their defeat of the Chicago Bears in 2007. The Colts orgionally were from Baltimore, Maryland but moved in the middle of the night to Indianapolis in 1984. They sucked at first in and made really did not do much with the draft until they drafted ...
...onto good times and have been a solid playoff team and challenge for the championship every year. There are people that think that the Jags will knock them off this year, but I do not see that happening. The start of the franchise return to glory was a brief taste at the end of the 1990's with Jim Harbaugh having a rebirth in the NFL and winning a passing title. In 1998 the team drafted Tennessee quarterback Peyton Manning with the first pick. They ... Read review
