Disadvantages: a little loud when it works
...my father buy a one Hamilton Beach 72600 today for my mother.
We try to use it happily. It is easy to use ,we put apple ,ice ,milk and other food in ,it is done well in a few seconds. So great.

Love the Machine
Review of Cuisinart BFP-703 by
tch2rd
Advantages: Easy to use and clean.
Disadvantages: None
I recently purchased my second Cuisinart BFP-703. I had literally used the first one to death. For blending, processing and slicing, nothing can compare to this Cusinart product.
The motor is powerful enough to chop ice or blend raw potatoes for potatoe pancakes. Using the blender attachment I make the best milkshakes and smoothies. This machine is easy to assemble and goes into the dishwasher for cleaning. The best part was that my new Cuisinart ... ...steal appliances. It looks so good, I don't have to put it away, but I can leave it out on my counter top.
This dual machine is a great value for the money and I highly recommend it to anyone who uses a food processor or blender either ocassionally or every day. ...

A Must-have for the Kitchen
Review of Cuisinart DLC-5 by
grownupgirlie
Advantages: Multi-purpose, easy to clean, saves time
Disadvantages: Takes up counter space, only one speed

I've used mine to make pesto, pasta dough, sauces, grate large amounts of cheese (using the grating blade), turning crackers into cracker crumbs, and marinades. I've heard you can even use it to make pie dough and turn granulated sugar into powdered sugar.
The case is easy to clean ... ...can be put in the dishwasher. Be careful with the blades though, they are all really sharp.
One handy little thing is the pusher for the feed tube. There's a little hole in it which is great for making salad dressings, as it controls the speed of the oil you're adding, making sure it doesn't get added too quickly.
Simple to use switch - on, off, pulse. Easy! ...
