Originally formed as a bluesy type of band, Fleetwood Mac was also known as a pop rock and a blues rock group.Formed in the UK in 1967 by Mick Fleetwood, Stevie Nicks, Peter Green and John Mcvie, they didnt ad Lindsey Buckingham till 1975. Their first album, self titled was released in 1969.They came to the US in 1969 and their career flew!!! In July of 1969 they headlined at the Schaefer Musical Festivel in Central Park in NY. Famous for songs like DREAMS, TUSK < may fav> and BLACK MAGIC WOMAN, their music transended many aspects of ourt world.Their song "Don't stop" was used as a campaign song for Bill Clinton. Their song "On My Way" was used in the Movie Forrest Gump. A great band, with many many great songs, Fleetwood Mac, it lives on a still sells out the house! Worth listening to.
