When I first heard about facebook, it was strictly for college kids 18+. Only a few of my friends went out of their way to fake their age and see what it was all about. Now that facebook is open to the public, I can't think of one of my friends that isn't a member. Facebook isn't as customizable as its rival myspace.com, but that can be a good or bad thing depending on how you look at it. The more generic layout gives facebook a more consistent look throughout the site which i personally like. All the new applications make it almost impossible yo run out of ways to fill your time. Things like the Top Friends app let you show off who your real friends are. All in all this internet community is revolutionizing how we interact via the web.
