I have been on facebook and it was a simple reason. I needed to get a family members attention. This family member did not call or email so I figured if I joined facebook and that , they might respond back. Sure enough they did. I do not know why it seems to be addictive but it certainly enticed me. I started with the above, as my main reason but suddenly found myself absorbed in all the games and things you could do. The most favorite was the Vampires, Wolves, and Slayer one. It was so addictive that I felt like I had to check into Facebook every day. I did for a while then I kinda got bored with it and cleared it. If you are one who has time to get online and play those things, then this has lots to add and do. If you are trying to reconnect, then I say "Go for it". It is free and rewarding if you actually find that someone you have been looking for.
