Advantages: small storage, inexpensive
Disadvantages: hard to push on carpets, maintenance nightmare, exhaust location and a short detachable hose
We purchased this vacuum for its small size and apparent power but in actual use, it turned out to be one of the worst ones we bought. First, if you have specialty carpets like berbers or thick cut pile, this supposedly lightweight machine was a hassle to push forward. It felt like it had brakes on all the time. The second problem was its messy dust tank. I know that bagless systems are rather filthy on maintenance, but this one was horrible. The ... ...the dust cap as well as a wind diverter to create the vortex action inside the cannister. These plastic pieces catch all sorts of ugly hila monsters and makes the filter uncleanable even though the instructions say you can wash it up to three times. Furthermore, if you attempt to actually rescue the filter, you need to re-attach it properly so that the wind diverter is aligned with the intake hole in the cannister.
