Advantages: small storage, inexpensive
Disadvantages: hard to push on carpets, maintenance nightmare, exhaust location and a short detachable hose

We purchased this vacuum for its small size and apparent power but in actual use, it turned out to be one of the worst ones we bought. First, if you have specialty carpets like berbers or thick cut pile, this supposedly lightweight machine was a hassle to push forward. It felt like it had brakes on all the time.
