Estee Lauder's Beautiful is a classic scent that has been around since 1985. I don't think I would have nessesarily purchased it, but it came in a gift set with other perfumes I liked. ...I got this as a present a while ago. As I had bought the perfume before and liked it, I guess this was a good, safe present! I really like Estee Lauder products, but I wasn't blown away by this bath and shower gel. The design of the tube is really simple. It has 'BEAUTIFUL' written across the top of the tube in gold letters, and then at the bottom of the tube 'ESTEE LAUDER'. The tube has a plastic flip top which I like as it makes for easy opening/closing if you are using it in the shower. I find flip tops a lot less messy than screw tops. The tube is made from see-through whiteish flexible rubbery plastic which made it really easy to squeeze in order to get the shower gel out. The shower gel itself is an iridescent pink colour, which is really pretty and girly. It is really easy to apply, you simply squirt some out of the tube... Read review

...Yes, I dare admit it - I don't have any Estee Lauder Beautiful perfume - I have some fake stuff. I bought it in Saudi Arabia - Arabs love and understand good perfume, so it's a sort of compliment to Estee Lauder that they copy it. So what I have is small bottle of perfume bearing the legend 'No. 156. Beautiful.' Being as all spirits are illegal in Saudi the perfume is in an oil base which contains no alcohol. There were a lot of other fake perfumes on sale there, and aftershaves, all much cheaper than the real thing. When I came home I went to the perfume counter in John Lewis and checked the smell out against the real thing. I could detect no difference. My mother was with me and she liked it so much that she bought herself some then and there. My other Estee Lauder favourite is 'Knowing.' I should say that Beautiful is lighter... Read review

...This is my absolute favourite perfume. I wear it all the time. It is perhaps a little heavy for daytime, but sometimes, when i need a lift or am having a bad day, I spray some on and bingo! the day seems better. It just makes me feel special. The smell seems to last forever. It has a lovely, slightly musky floral fragrance, and many women ask me what I am wearing or say I smell nice. men like it too ladies. Even some men have asked me what it is, and my husband loves it as well. He knows he has a standing order Christmas and birthday gift of Estee Lauder Beautiful. I have tried many other perfumes and this one just seems to suit me. I use DK Delicious for daytime normally but always Beautiful for evening. Beautiful by name, beautiful smell and lovely packaging.
