This model uses espresso capsules made for this model, so that makes things very easy! If you like cappuccino, it can easily be made with this unit. There is a built in steam nozzle that makes the steamed milk. It also has a cup warmer to keep your beverage warm. ...you. The Krups XP4030 espresso has a nice Crema to it and the taste is smooth and rich. The Frother is easy to use to froth or steam milk and easy to clean. It has a nice little warming tray on top to keep your espresso warm will you are using the frother.
The Krups XP4030 has a large removable 32 oz water tank so there is no constant filling up involved. Everything stores nicely in the machine so there is no tumbling around the kitchen looking ... ... So why buy the Krups XP4030?
I have owned a few Krups brand kitchen appliances and they last for years. The machine is easy to use and easy to clean. The price and quality of the machine are outstanding. I am Italian and I prefer espesso coffee: it is very strong, black, and, usualy it is said that you must avoid sugar so to better taste coffee aroma. I use to put some milk, just a little (we call it ... ...This machine is composed of three parts:
the upper side, where coffee gather just to drop it into a cup;
a lower side, where you have to put water (you can choose how many);
a third internal part, a sort of filter, where you place grinded coffee.
Once on the fire, you have to wait water to boil, then you'll have your hot drinking.

This was my first espresso machine which my husband bought even though I couldn't justify paying close to $300 for a coffee maker. I am sad to report that my first experience with an espresso machine was not a good one. This machine was not worth $300 and in my opinion not even worth half that. We have had it about 7 months now and it is not currently working. I'm not sure what's wrong with it but I am going to try to contact the company because ... ...don't have that kind of money to burn. My first impression of the machine was that it looked like a quality product and the first few times we used it the espresso was amazing. Unfortunately the espresso function stopped working for reasons unknown after about 3 months of use. We don't use this machine every day, maybe more like twice a week so it's not like we wore it out.
