Advantages: Rich Creamy Espresso Disadvantages: Sometimes not so hot
OK so I just moved from America to Italy and I think it is safe to say that I am obsessed with espresso, espresso machiato, and capucinni. All delicious. However, they range from 1 dollar to 1.50, and it is common, pretty much a daily routine to stop in bar and have one before work. If you do the math, that can get expensive. So I took a shot, no pun intended, and bought this to see if it was a quality product that could help me save money. I really ... ...nicely. The only thing I found about it that sometimes is unsatisfying is it is not always super super hot, how I like it, but hey even here in the bars it is not always. You take a chance and if you find a bar that serves well you stick with it. Anyway I would say this product is worth the money, rich and has a nice creamy edge to it, the kaffe you will drink with this is delicious. ...well during a travel! Bialetti surprised me again! The new design is really nice, and the taste of the coffe is the usual "pure italian coffe". In addiction this machine stops itself when the coffe is ready, unlike the traditional one that need to be "overseed" till the coffe is ready.
And it keep the coffe worm for half an hour.
I guess is a must for all the one that not own yet a moka coffe maker. ...

Bialetti is the most famous brand in the market of the italian moka pot coffe makers.
Is not only a moka pot, is THE moka pot, because this kind of coffe maker was invented by Alfonso Bialetti. This serie is the classic serie, with the original design, and is consider an "evergreen". Is "the coffe machine" here in italy.
Is really easy to use, and the coffe you will get will wonder you, you will love the round taste that only the moka can give ... ...most common in quite all the italian family. And i own more or less the whole serie, 1 cup, 3 cups, 6 cups, and 9 cups. Is the best choice, if you want taste a true "italian style" coffe. All my friends like my coffe, and often happens that they say me "your coffe is better than an espresso" ...

Advantages: 'fancy' coffee BEFORE you leave, more economical than the shop down the hill Disadvantages: YOU have to push the button :) & pay a little attention - ha ha
Absolutely LOVE this machine!!!! We registered for this sort of as a "what else can we put down" and as of NOW this is by far the best tangible gift we received. It gets used DAILY and in the wake of an ever-changing economy, making those fancy coffee drinks at home is DEFINITELY saving us some $$ on a daily basis. We use the espresso side much more than the regular coffee side, but the coffee is great using either side. We've had no problems with ... ...in line with what YOU decide you want to put in it whether its the local coffee shop's brand, or the grocery store brand, but splurging $8 a lb of GOOD coffee that will last you 2-3 weeks is a HECK of a lot more economical than spend $3-$4 A DAY on that latte from you know where! (quite frankly, I've enjoyed experimenting and now when I DO happen to go into you-know-where, their coffee simply does NOT taste as good as what I make at home! ...
