Advantages: Great Print Quality, No computer picture printing, CD printing, Six Cartridges
Disadvantages: The black cartridge is more expensive than the color .

I own and love this printer. I will admit that with six cartridges that buying the ink can be a little expensive, but the print quality is more than worth the cost. Be warned though the black cartridge is more expensive then the rest.
The colors are used less because of the extra light cyan and light magenta cartridges. You save on the regular colors. I love to print my own pictures and I have started a new business and this printer makes my life so much easier because I can print my own papers out. I don't have to worry about print quality.
The scanner works great and the copy function is great too. But what makes it stand out is that you can stick your card from your camera in the slot and the pictures come up on the screen. You don't have to use your computer.
