Dyson DC18 Slim

Disadvantages: Might be somewhat cost prohibitive (but well worth the price!)

I ordered my Dyson DC18 Slim a little over a year ago. As with most small appliances there was assembly required. Even though the manual was easy to understand, I was able to assemble the vacuum easily without reading the instructions! ...Dyson has been a big name for some time now and due to the price i was always reluctant to purchase one. Now thanks to an anniversary my wife is overjoyed :)) as we received this dyson model, thanks mum!!! The Dyson DC18 is an upright hoover that can cost between £220 - £280 depending on where you purchase it. It is suitable for use on carpets, upholstery, laminate flooring and it even works in narrow spaces due to its compact size. Thankfully there are no dust bags to empty and no filters to change. It has a motorised dust bar which takes all the dust and dirt into the Dyson airflow which is powered by the cyclone which means there is no loss of suction. ...As an ex electrical company employee (which will remain unknown) I can say that this vacuum cleaner is extremely reliable (as is most dyson products) but is also easy to store due to it's 'slim' style. It is fairly light and easy to manoever aswell as being powerful and allows you to see just how dirty your front room was (always an added bonus) The removable heads although suited to cleaning every surface e.g sofas and corners of walls and easy to remove are likely to get tangled and possibly lost The bagless feature of all dyson products is effective as it is fairly hassle-free to clean and disinfect as a pose to some vacuums which use bags. ...Vacuuming is a secret hobby of mine. There's just something about it that I find fascinating. My wife usually complains, but I can't get enough of pushing that big piece of equipment around. So when I saw the DC18 All Floors SLIM with integrated tools, a 1.7 litre dust capacity, and a plastic telescopic tube, I found it very difficult to contain my excitement. My wife wasn't really fussed, but after I begged and begged, we sold our Ford KA and took a chance with this vacuum. And boy, it paid off. The colour scheme is glorious, the ball control is fantastic, and the suction is unparalleled. Now if only I could get the cat to feel the same way!!
