we bought Whirlpool Super Capacity Dryer on aug last year along with the matching Whirlpool Washing Machine.The machine has worked very well. It is very quiet, at least compared to our older Kenmore dryer. The control/buttons are easy to use and its 7 cubic foot capacity is tremendous. I bought this dryer in October. So far I love it. It dries well, it isn't too loud, and it has lots of different drying cycles from which to choose. It is big, however -- depth wise. I didn't count on that when I bought it. You need to measure the depth of the dryer -- but then make sure you count extra room for the hose out the back to ensure you have enough room to fit it into the space in which you are trying to fit it. Plan on an extra 4-5 inches ...
...get the pedestal (an extra $110 bucks -- which is ridiculous for a metal box) or have someone build you a pedestal upon which to put your washer dryer before you have them installed. Very pleased!! I love this dryer! After buying an expensive, supposed top of the line dryer for my mom and hating it, I decided to buy this one for myself. Great dryer for the price. None of my clothes have shrunk and everything gets dry during the first cycle - I never have to turn it back on unless I forgot and need to get the wrinkles back out. It is so easy to operate when drying clothes. And it is so easy to load, since you can load from the front. It is really nice and quiet. It is not loud at all and does not take too long to get your clothes dried. It has a lot of nice functions. From low, high, and air dry levels that you can use.
